Taylor's International School Kuala Lumpur

TIS Kuala Lumpur offers English Support to students whose English is weak, in two different ways. Most students fit the category where they need more practice in English and so they are able to manage in the mainstream lessons. These students will receive support in their English or Literacy lessons. This differentiated support is part of the normal lessons. Students who enter the school with a low level of English could join an extraction group, where they spend time in a special group focusing upon English. These students will join others for Art, PE, Drama and less Language dependent lessons to enhance the social aspects of being in a school. These students will rejoin the mainstream classes, when their level of English is deemed appropriate to manage normal lessons.
